This house is also associated with the Borden family murders. Maplecroft is located just west of Historic Downtown, near Kennedy Park. Lizzie Borden moved here after she was acquitted, and lived in this Queen Anne Victorian-style home from 1893 to 1927. You can visit the home for a quick tour and see pieces of the Borden family furniture, as well as an original 1890s Tiffany stained-glass window.

Oak Grove Cemetery is the city’s oldest and largest cemetery and is also the final resting place of Lizzie Borden and the Borden family.
